I am addicted to the China's minority tribe's costumes and ornaments after meeting them in person. They are not afraid to show off their beauty and wealth, exaggerated jewelry are indispensable part of their dressing, and their cloths are always filled with brilliant embroideries and vibrant colours. Despite living in mountain areas, their costumes are not made simple for them to maneuver; they wear heavy precious stones on their head and round their neck and the full costume can weigh up to twice the weight of the woman. The truth is, there is no limit to the amount of jewelry they wear, since they have neither a permanent settlement nor a bank, they can only exchange their money into precious stones and wear them to wherever they go.

What was your ambition when you were younger? Mine was to be a designer, I even had a sketch book full of childish designs. My grades in primary school were deplorable and I naively assume that a designer doesn't need any qualification (I still think so though, who needs school if one really has great talents). Goals, we all have one, however how many has the determination to achieve what they truly want? Life is full of distractions and there will always be candies out there to coax you out of the deal. I too, fell into the devious trap of life, I did not pursue the path of design. Instead I am into accounting and finance, which is very far off from I had intended. Sometimes I wonder what will the 8yr old me think of the me now. I don't care if she disproves it, I am please with my choice and I hope the 30yr old me in the future will be proud.
What one loves does not equate to one's profession, sometimes things just don't go as what one intended, however they can always make full use of what they have.

Let it rain.
@ 3:58 PM
The rainy season is definitely not my favourite; the gloomy clouds and depressing sky kill all the outdoors fun. When I was much younger, I used to curse upon the sky whenever it starts to rain. With the ever-changing weather in Singapore, I do curse a lot as a kid. Plans were canceled during rainy days because most people just want to snuggle up in their blanket and wander off to their dreamland; nobody wants to play. With weather like this, I could only watch the rain droplets fall from the side of my window pane and pray for it to stop.
It is amazing how fast people's preferences change; some days they hate something and love it the next. I am no exception. Over the years, I learn to embrace days like this and appreciate the comfort it brings; I enjoy the smoothing smell of moist soil and the cooling wind that comes along with the rain. The rain never last for the sun refuses to stay in the shadows. Moreover the sunny weather after rain is exceptionally joyful and satisfying, not to say the beautiful rainbow.
I made a to-do list out of a piece of old wood. love it!

In less than a couple of weeks I will be be turning 20, which also
marks the end of my best 'teens' years. The thought of growing up is
daunting, people tend to assume more responsibilities on the grown-up and
expect them to behave like one. We are relied upon to make the right decisions,
mistakes are not pardonable. The cruel world shows no pity to the weak. To
survive, many turn into money making zombies sticking to a routine and working
mindlessly. The better ones turn into ruthless bandits and pirates, back stabbing
others to use them as their climbing stones and robbing others to their favor. Enough of this lamentation, it's time to watch sponge bob.
Nothing beats a cup of warm tea with yummy donuts!

Now that I have graduated, there is plenty of time to draw, however the laziness has struck me again. Sometimes I just want to sit down somewhere and space ou; I was not planning anything big in my mind, but simply day dreaming. I wouldn't consider that as wasting time because it helps to relax my mind. Billions and trillions of my brain cells die when I was pushing through the 3yrs of polytechnic education, it is time to replenish and prepare them for the next 3yrs of uni. Well here is another random doodle...
